  How to respond when JW's invite you to the memorial

  the yearly rejection of the blood of christ aka jw memorial is coming soon.. jw's will be engaging in an invitation campaign.

  elders are instructed to personally visit inactive ones or faders.

  I was just very non committal when hassled by the COBE and wife the 1st year or 2 out, in other words I would not be cornered into saying yes or no about it then as I didnt want to fast track myself to DF.

  I have been left alone for the past few years but if there is a push in my direction and as a young elder from my old hall has moved in near me it's a possibility and may get it in his thick head i am worth harassing over it, my answer will be clear this time around not to bother asking me again as I dont believe in any bible nonsense at all.

  What would you say to the HH if you could?

  ok so there's no other jws in earshot and your on the ministry, the hh comes to the door, what would you say to them about jws if you could?.

  would you explain why your there when you don't want to be?.

  would you warn them about it being a cult?.

  romans 13 : 1-7 "let every soul be in subjection to the superior authorities" etc,"the existing authourities stand placed in their relative positions by god" 2".therefore he who opposers the authourity has taken a stand against the arrangement of god ,those who have taken a stand against it will recieve judgement to themselves "etc,etc,.."..to him who calls for honour such honour.".

  isnt this plainly stating that christians should be supporting and playing along with the governments of this sytem of things ?

  It has to be a spoof as I doubt they would use "don't" in the title of an assembly item, let alone the assembly title itself. (unless of course they have gone all out hipster 21st century cult, which given recent trends actually makes it quite possible.)

  If they chose a theme like this it would be a bible quote like Galations 6:9.

  el and other variations such as elyon, el shaddai and elohim appear many times in the bible.

  these are usually translated as god, most high, god almighty and so on.

  i am presently considering three different routes to publishing crisis of conscience.

  i hope to make a decision within days and plan to publish within weeks.. it has now been 50 weeks since that statement.. has the book been published yet?

  I still think as I did a year ago that this isnt getting published by the copyright holder anytime soon if ever.

  If you want it just google search for the pdf as there's really no good reason why any fading JW would ever want a hard copy over a easy to hide pdf anyway.

  Debs has missed the boat of sympathy and support, that ship sailed a long time ago.
